Voices of a Distan Star was premiered at a small theater Tollywood in Shimokitazawa, Tokyo.

The final day of the show. There was a stage greeting of Mr Shinkai and some other staffs.
(This is I watched it for the first time)

Introduced by anime magazine NewType.

DVD was released from CoMix Wave and there was a stage greeting by Mr. Shinkai in Tollywood.

Broadcasted by TV in Hokkaido.

The special feature article appeared with the DVD anime magazine Animage Spirit. In this magazine, Mr. Eiji Otsuka, the famous animation critic and comics scenarist, wrote the recommendation sentence.

Mr. Shinkai was introduced with many anime and game magazines these days including the anime magazine Animage. Some of major (not for anime fans) magazines and newspapers took up him either.

OST was released.

In the animation magazine Animage, the talk with Mr. Shinkai and Mr.Yoshiyuki Tomino (supervisor of GUNDAM series) was carried.

The novel of version was released. (Written by Mr Waku Ooba and Illustrated by Mr Kou Yaginuma. The cover is illustrated by Mr Shinkai.)

Hoshi no Koe Radio Edition CD was released. (It is side-stories broadcasted by TBS radio. Mikako and Noboru are supporting part. The story is not written by Mr Shinkai.)

Mr Shinkai, Ms Shinohara, and Mr Kawaguchi (CoMix Wave) participated in Comic Con International in San Diego, U.S.

DVD-Book is released by Tokuma Shoten Publishing.
At the same time, the book of critical essays and reviews by famous creators, anime concerned persons, and fans, Hoshi no Koe wo Kike (Listen the Voices of a Distant Star) was released.
